EXPLANATION 

  DESKRIPTIVE TEXT IS A TEXT DESCRIBE AND OBJECT ( SPESIFIC OBJECT) SAJES PEOPLE CHARACTERISTIC ABOUT OBJECT .(A people detail information to describe spesific object AS IT IS ).

 

 •Object in descriptive text are :people,plants,animals,building,place and others 

•This explanation or description includes : Appearance ( shape/form),Characteristic (nature), amount, thought's, achiement's and other's. 

•The Purpose or descriptive text is to describe or provide an explanation of an object in detail 

*STRUCTURE 

1.IDENTIFICATION :

 - An overview of a to topic .                          

-(ussually/generally in the first paragraph the text) .

2.DESCRIPTION:

- an explanation contains the special charateristic possessed by the object being described. 

3.COLOSING / CONCLUSION :

- Usually contains a conclusion of summary of the text. 

-(However, this section is optional; it may  exit, IT may eot exits) 

*FUCTION:

1.Give the spesific/ detail information 

2.To describe the SPESIFIC object

3.To entertaining.

*LANGUAGE FEATURE 

1.SPECIFIC PARTICIPANT:

Has a certain object, is not general and unique ( there is only one). Example : My favorite food, Prambanan Temple.

2.THE USING ADJECTIVE :

•An adjective is a word that modifies or describes a noun or pronoun. Adjectives can be used to describe the qualities of someone or something independently or in comparison to something else.

 Examples: Adjectives in a sentence I like old houses. The boy is tall and skinny. Jane is smarter than her brother.

• An adjective can also described the quantity of nouns. ex:many,few,millions,eleven.

~THE TYPE ADJECTIVE :

 1.Descrptive Adjective ( a word describes and pronouns. Ex : fast, car). 

2.Quantitative adjective (provide information about the quantity of nouns/pronouns example : twent). 

3.Demonstrative ( directly refers to something or someone, ex: this,that,these,those).

4.Possesive ( indicates possession or owner ship,ex: my, her, his, your, cour, our, their,it).

5.Interrogrative (asks a question. The interrogative adjectives are : which, what, who's)  ex: which a new you use?  What game does she love? 

6.Indefinite ( describe or modifies a noun unspecifically, Indefinite are few, many, much, all, any, each, every, either, nobody several, some, etc).

*Adjevtive in Series / Adjective order

=> when more than one adjective comes before a noun, the adjective are normally in a particular order. Adjective which describes opinions or attitude, 

3.USE OF THE SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE:

  is tense that are used when an event is happening right now or an event that happens repeatedly (habit) is done every day.

  FORMULA:  Subject + Verb 1 + Object + Time

 Example: I   go   to school  everyday

4.Using to Pronoun

•Pronouns are words that are used to replace nouns in a text.

•Pronoun appears to avoid the same noun shown repeatedly.

•A different pronouns is required depending on  elements :

1.The noun being replaced 

2.The function that noun has in the sentence. 

Ex: He a man

5.Action Verbs

=> There are verbs that's indicate an activity ( the activity can be seen) .Ex:Cut,Run,Clean.

6.Adverbs of frequency are adverbs that are used to show often an activity I carried out.   (ex : always, so sometimes, refely, ,never).

EXAMPLE DESCRIPTIVE TEXT

               My Lovely Cat, Bebe

My mother bought me a present I’ve wanted for years. It’s a cat. A kitten to be exact. I called her Bebe.

Bebe is a small kitten. Her size is as big as the palm of my hand. So cute! She has white and grey color, and lovely yellow eyes. She is very soft and furry. Bebe is so fragile. Sometimes, I’m afraid I will hurt her if I want to take her up.

Mom said, she found Bebe near our house, crying looking for her mom. But mom can’t see her, so mom decides to bring Bebe home and give her some comfort.

Bebe is a good eater. She always finished everything we gave to her. But, she likes snacks and wet food the most. Now, it’s been a year since Bebe came to our family. Her small body has grown up into the size of a football ball. Bebe is a good cat, and we love her so much
